What is Hypnosis?
We have all experienced Hypnosis at some point without even realising it.

Hypnosis is a natural occurrence that happens to us daily.
Hypnotherapy is a highly effective therapy in which we can communicate with your unconscious mind and update it. When we are in a relaxed (hypnotic trance) state our body is released from conscious control, this is when our unwanted behaviours and thoughts can be changed to the positive outcomes that you desire.
Will I lose control?
You will always remain entirely in control and will probably remember the whole experience! You will only take on suggestions that your mind believes to be relevant to you, if it is not your mind will just ignore it!
Unlike the portrayal of stage, film or TV Hypnosis, no one can hypnotise you against your will. As a fully qualified and professional Clinical Hypnotherapist I can promise you that you will not end up barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken!
How many sessions will it take?
For some issues, one session is all we will need, for other issues you may need a few more, usually no more than 5 sessions. The hope is that you are swiftly moved on to your desired outcome.
Do you guarantee it will work?
I would be very cautious of any therapist that offered a guarantee that their treatment would work.
I wouldn’t take a client on if I didn’t believe I could get the outcome they were hoping for, or if I thought that they did not genuinely want change to occur.
Hypnotherapy is a hugely effective treatment for a whole range of issues and I truly believe that if you want the change for yourself then it is highly likely you will achieve it.
Do I need to bring anything to the appointment?
The most important thing to bring is the willingness and openness to change.
Payment can be made with cash, debit or credit card. Alternatively, you can pay before the session via bank transfer.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment, that is completely fine, all I ask is that you give me 48 hours’ notice so that I can offer the appointment to someone else without incurring any cost to you.
